what is the difference between reality and imagination, if, reality is perception and perception is driven by imagination?

Creativity is just connecting things, when you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didnt really do it, they just saw something. It seemed obvious to them after a while. That’s because they were able to connect experiences they’ve had and synthesize new things. And the reason they were able to do that was that they’ve had more experiences than other people.
Steve Jobs

Be humble, all life is one

“One of the hardest ideas for humans to accept is that we are not the culmination of anything. There is nothing inevitable about our being here. It is part of our vanity as humans that we tend to think of evolution as a process that, in effect, was programmed to produce us.”a

Do you like veal?

“When we see veal on our plate, it does not generally occur to people to wonder how the animal got such pale flesh. The calves have borderline anemia, which is achieved by feeding the small animal an all-liquid diet. That is the meaning of “milk-fed veal” on the menu; but it is also hypocrisy to give the impression the calf was nursed. The calves do not receive the nutrients they require- no iron or fiber. In addition, they are fed a large amount of antibiotics and hormones, for this unnatural diet would make them deathly ill without them. The calves to be used for veal(about 1 million a year in the US) live from 16 to 18 weeks. As soon as they are removed from their mothers, they are put into a small crate about 2 feet wide, with no straw or bedding, sometimes chained by the neck, making it almost impossible for them to turn around, stretch or even lie down comfortably. Mortality rates are typically about 20%, probably because of the stress and separation from their mothers.” From ” The Face On Your Plate” by Jeffery Moussaieff Masson

Be aware of what you consume. Be aware of who your consumption is hurting.

But what we’re really trapped by is perceptions. What we really need is to just stop thinking of ourselves as bodies and start thinking of ourselves as people.
